6/26/2023 0 Comments Cccp project zomboid![]() You can see all our public build content, and the dates of release, here.Īfter a build is released and patched we reopen our public unstable beta, known as the IWBUMS (I Will Back Up My Save) branch – so the community can test it, and help out by reporting bugs. Some public builds have arrived after three months, others with bigger features have taken more than six. Many consider our game frequently updated, some consider us slow. We have a reputation that seems to diverge greatly when it comes to update frequency depending on who you ask. ![]() If a blog is fairly dry they’ll sometimes only be posted on our website, but we've had this unbroken chain of ‘doids for a long time and (although when milestones have been reached we may switch to doing them every two weeks) we certainly intend to continue them for the foreseeable future. ![]() These detail what we've been up to during the week, often with sneak peeks of upcoming features, interviews and videos. We have weekly newsletters known as 'Thursdoids’ which we publish on our site and on Steam every Thursday. If you're not ready to jump in yet, then please consider us when we break out of Early Access. We hope you will join us, but if not we understand. It has grown massively over the years, and it’s been a rollercoaster, but we now find ourselves in a stable financial situation with an overall positive reaction from the Steam community. “Project Zomboid is a much more ambitious game than we could ever have hoped to fund ourselves.

6/25/2023 0 Comments Malwarebytes premium cost![]() In 2021, Malwarebytes suffered a cyberattack that gave the attackers access to “a limited subset of internal company emails.” Luckily, neither the software nor any of the security products were breached. Malwarebytes doesn’t have a firewall, password manager, or parental control features. Still, Malwarebytes is lacking in key security features found in top-tier antivirus programs like Norton and TotalAV. The premium plan provides a more comprehensive antivirus program which includes web protection and a VPN. The free version helps you remove existing malware, but it doesn’t offer real-time protection, meaning you can be exposed to zero-day threats. It protects you even from the latest threats, including viruses, trojans, ransomware, worms, and other malware threats. ![]() Malwarebytes provides excellent malware detection rates and solid security features. Bottom line, your system may no longer support the handler being used. ![]() They are also trying to keep from overflowing a 32bit memory space, which is limited to 4gb normally, but can extend, with special programming, to 6gb. Windows has been pushing this kind of programming out, due to exploits in the 32 bit architecture that are rife with virus attacks. I would suspect (due to seeing the option appear in the tools menu) that they are using a component that is still tied to a 32bit handler. I had to update all my apps due to windows updates that broke functionality. ![]() I have updated those apps, I have reinstalled 7zip, and still found no solution to the problem. ![]() I uninstalled, then installed some other apps, then reinstalled. At the time I was using Windows 10 Home, I upgraded to pro workstation and it was still flawless. When I installed the 64bit application, the problem was gone. I uninstalled and deleted all of it from my registry (all that I could find). The menu would display but nothing would work. However, after unistalling the 32bit, the problem showed up for the first time. However, I never experienced the issue when using both 32 and 64 bit versions together. Unfotunately, after some updates relating to security, I too experienced this issue. 6/25/2023 0 Comments Synology pcloud![]() In this post, we’ll explain how to achieve a 3-2-1 backup strategy, share some of the benefits of backing up to cloud storage, outline different options for backing up your DiskStation, and give some practical examples of what you can do by pairing your NAS with cloud storage. ![]() All the time.) In short, you can store backups on a NAS for easy access, but a NAS itself does not constitute a true backup strategy.įor true protection, you need to implement a 3-2-1 backup strategy that incorporates your NAS with at least one off-site copy-and backing up to the cloud is a great way to do just that. Your Synology DiskStation definitely gives you all of those benefits, but your NAS alone doesn’t fully protect your data from things like a natural disaster, a ransomware attack, or a major hard drive failure (And drives do fail. You probably invested in the NAS to enable easier collaboration and access, speed up restores, make files available 24/7, and achieve a level of redundancy you didn’t have before. ![]() If you’re using a Synology NAS for your small business or home office setup, chances are your data is important to you. Read-only collections are similar to immutable collections in that they both provide collections that cannot be modified once they are created. It is a common mistake in Kotlin to confuse read-only collections with immutable collections. ![]() Using any of the mutableOf() functions will create a mutable collection of that type. listOf() or mapOf()) you’ll get a read-only instance of that collection type. Let’s start off with a rather simple “hello world” example. In this post I’ll show you 7 code snippets containing common mistakes (I made) when programming in Kotlin. Or maybe even worse: I can’t explain why the code DOES work. And even now I have some experience, every once in a while, when conducting a Kotlin training or when on a Kotlin assignment, I encounter situations where I simply cannot explain why the code doesn’t work the way I intended. Have you ever felt like this kid when programming? I sure did! When I got into Kotlin development I felt like this kid many many times. To use the IronKey flash drive, you need to activate an online account. The first thing the IronKey drive asked me after I plugged it into my laptop's USB port was to set up my username and password and configure a secure Web browser, which takes about two minutes. This drive is the size of a thin pack of gum - perfect. I'm not a big fan of mini-USB flash drives for the simple fact that they're too easily lost (I know this from experience).
